Lauren
Lauren spent a lot of time as a child with migraines and pain throughout her body. She didn’t want to rely on medicine, so she explored several alternative healing modalities. The one that resonated with her and helped her the most was Massage Therapy. As soon as she was old enough, Lauren went to school for Massage Therapy with the goal of making everyone feel the benefits she did as a child. Lauren is a Colorado native who graduated from the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins in 2017. After practicing Massage Therapy for a few years, Lauren recognized the correlation between emotional wellbeing and how we (her clients) were holding emotions in the body. She wanted to explore this further. Lauren received her Reiki Master certification in 2021. Her passion is for natural medicine, promoting wellness, and healing the body by integrating holistic health. Lauren is very intuitive and able to access the issues going on with every client that comes into her healing space immediately. Loki

Loki is a natural born healer. He is 16 months old and fully trained as a service dog. Unfortunately, (or maybe fortunately). He is trained to open doors and stop an unwanted situation such as a seizure or any other unwanted behavior - which alerts his caretakers to step in and help. Being a Basenji - their natural instinct is to follow the rules 50% of the time, He is stubborn and headstrong. Loki will obey in a crisis situation but in the meantime he wants to do what he wants to do. Loki loves love, he likes greeting everyone that comes to the studio and making them his friend. Loki also enjoys long walks and ball! An aloof, very affectionate dog, the Basenji can be fiercely protective of their families and their friends. While known as a barkless dog, the Basenji does "yodel" and growl, so it is not mute. Basenjis tend to be clever dogs, but not easy to train. They need creative, patient handling to bring out their best qualities. Basenjis are ancient dogs tracing their lineage from pariah dogs to the Egyptians and then to hunting dogs for the tribes in the Congo.
Khan

Khan, the Cane Corso is a large-boned and muscular working dog with a noble, confident disposition and a lineage that goes back to ancient Rome. Cane Corsos are powerful dogs that may seem intimidating to some. These fearless and vigilant dogs are not right for everyone. However, these gentle giants are often misunderstood and can actually make excellent companions. Khan was raised at Mile High Holistics, his parent - Sarah brought him in early as a baby and he has grown with us. He is a "gentle giant", he commands the room but with the biggest and sweetest healing energy. Khan is the best therapist because he will fall asleep and snore during your session. Have you ever listened to Dolphin or Whale sounds while you sleep? Khan can manifest this during your Therapeutic session. Khan is an urban farmer and has chickens, baby goats, a kitty and baby bunnies at home that he loves and is the fearless protector of all of them. He loves hugs, meeting new friends and is always so happy to see everyone that comes to visit us at Mile High Holistics.
